Passed away peacefully at the Cornwall General Hospital on Sunday February 28th, 2021. Allan was in his 88th year. Son of the late Leonard and Mary Terrence (nee Maffrice). Predeceased by the mother of his children Hazel Terrence. Also predeceased by his wife Helen. Loved father of the late Donnie Docksteader of Ingleside, Kelly Terrence (Lee-Ann) of Belleville, Angela Terrence (Frank) of Corbyville, Michael Terrence (Christina) of Belleville, and Kathleen Harrison (Chad). Will be sadly missed by grandchildren David, Michelle and Tristan, and step-grandchildren Hunter and Harrison, and great-grandchildren Destiny, Devonte, Dasia and Blayne. Allan was a sixty-year resident of South Lancaster. He enjoyed a lifetime of fishing and boating on the St. Lawrence River. He genuinely engaged in chats with neighbours and friends in the area regularly. His love of music was always apparent, for you would always hear him singing and whistling. In keeping with Allan’s wishes, a private cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Dad was a big man and he lived a big full life. Dads’ wishes were that everyone knew that he would miss everyone.
