It is with deep sadness that we announce the Passing of Mrs. Althea Orchard – Alessio in Cornwall on Thursday September 15, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Alfred Anthony Alessio and by a previous marriage to the late Denis Orchard and to the late Frank Ruffo. Loving mother of Steven Orchard and Jeffrey Orchard (Sue). Dear sister of the late Dorothy Freeman (Ralph) and the late Delton Paquette (late Eileen). Cherished by 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Althea was a long -time director of volunteers for the Hotel Dieu/Cornwall Community Hospital. As per the family’s wishes there will be a private visitation and burial.
