1957 - 2022
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Julia Gallinger (nee Toltesi) on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at Cornwall Hospice, at the age of 65 years. Beloved wife of Cliff Gallinger for over 32 years. Loving sister of John Toltesi, Frank Toltesi (Terri), Alex Toltesi (late Norma), and Maria Zeran (Ivan). Dear sister-in-law of Sharron Maras (Claude), Kevin Gallinger (Sheila), and Carl Gallinger. Predeceased by her sister-in-law Patricia Scott (late Garry), also her parents Julius and Madeline Toltesi (nee Nagy). Predeceased by her sister Matilda Guay and her brother Julius Toltesi also by her father and mother-in-law Alvin & Dorothy Gallinger (nee Amell). Barbara will be missed by many nieces and nephews, and her fur baby Harley. The family would like to thank the staff at the Cornwall Hospice and The Ottawa Hospital, Civic and General Campus. In keeping with Barbara’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations to Cornwall Hospice would be appreciated by the family. My Love, My Wife, My Life
With unbelievable strength, courage and will power to live…..She now has left us all ending all of her pain caused by this unbelievable disease. No doubt a person who would brighten up a room just with her presence. And did I mention the hardest and most dedicated worker I have ever worked beside! I will be forever grateful, lucky and blessed to of had her as my wife for 32 plus years and 40 plus years together. We kept busy, very busy and loved to be by her side for our experiences together. Well now she’s already left on our next road trip.
