It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Bernard Payette on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at Cornwall Community Hospital, at the age of 79 years. Loving father of Alain Payette and late Julie Life (Chris), Cherished grandfather of Tanner Life. Bernard is predeceased by his parents Emile and Rhea Payette (née Bouchard) and his brother Laurier Payette. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, ON (613) 938-3888. As per Bernard’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 21th, 2022 from 10 am to 11 am. at Wilson Funeral Home, 218 Montreal Road, Cornwall, ON (613-938-3888). A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, October 21th, 2022 at 11 am.
