It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. David McEwen on Thursday July 14, 2022 at the age of 46 years. Beloved son of late Mr. John and Myrna McEwen (nee Clyke). Dear brother of Sean McEwen (Jennifer Dales) of Ottawa, Jeff (Elisabeth Girgis) of Ottawa, Kevin (Chung-Ah) of Quebec City and Jennifer McEwen of Cornwall. David will be missed by many nephews, nieces and friends. As per David’s wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, ON (613-938-3888) on Friday August 5, 2022 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. followed by a Celebration of David’s life in the Funeral Home Chapel at 11:30 a.m. Rite of Committal to follow at St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery. If so desired, Memorial donation to the Canadian Mental Health Association would be appreciated by the family.
