Passed away Peacefully at the age of 88 on July 06, 2022 at Heartwood Long term Care Home. Born in Moulinette, Ontario Dorothy is the last of her generation.
Loving wife of late Garnet Legue (Popeye). Loving mother of Doreen (Charles Wood), Carol (Diep Tran) both of Cornwall, and Dean Legue (Joan Graves) of Ottawa and foster mother of Rose (Marc Lalonde). Also survived by 16 grandchildren, Kristina Luneburg, Amanda Noury, Gerry Burns, Christine (Andrew Brown), Vanessa (Christopher Baker), Jonathan (Alexandra Dupuis) Tran, Michelle (Tom Ladner), Abraham, Teresa, Sabrina Altieri, Cory Legue, Jordan Legue (Sophie Boucher), Jesse Legue-Landriault, Tara Larmer, Myranda Legue, Ciera Legue and 9 great-grandchildren, Lilyana Larmer, Brocklyn Scott, Noah Legue-Guttadauria, Hunter Legue, Bella Legue-Landriault, Maverick Legue, Logan, Benjamin Brown and Calvin Barker. Survived by 2 nieces Delberta Lauber and Nancy Dunn and one nephew John Martin. Survived by many great nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents, Gordon Wilson Martin and Ella Jane Fox, four sons Garnet David, Darol, Kelly (Lise Seguin), Garnet John Legue and one daughter Deana Legue, one grandson Domenico Altieri, and 10 brothers, Norman David (Verna Wright} Wilson, George, Edward, Andrew, Edger, Charlie, John, Walter, Howard and two sisters Leola (Mearl Sandes) and Mary (Roy Woods). In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Wilson Funeral Home 822 Pitt St. Cornwall Ontario. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Dorothy's life will be held on Wednesday July 27th, 2022 at the Wilson Funeral Home at 11am followed by burial at Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorial Donations to charity of choice appreciated by the family.
