Beloved spouse of Lucille (Boisvenue). Loving father of Lise Gauthier and Michel Lapointe (Joanne Patenaude) of Cornwall, Ontario. Cherished grandfather to Chantalle Gauthier (Christopher Abraham) and Christine Gauthier (Corey Smith) of Cornwall and Kayleen Lapointe of Ottawa and Matthew Lapointe (Gabrielle Charron) of Ottawa. Great-grandfather of Rose Abraham. Predeceased by his parents Alfred and Annie (née Allinotte) Lapointe and two siblings Ernest (Elda) and Dorothy Lafave (late Sylvester). He leaves behind his beloved Shih-Tzu, Penny. Arrangements entrusted to the Wilson Funeral Home Boulerice Centre 218 Montreal Road, Cornwall. In keeping with his wishes cremation has taken place. A Mass of Christian burial was held at Precious Blood Roman Catholic Church, Glen Walter, Ontario. Interment to be held this spring in the Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Society of Ste-Therese de Lisieux, or the local S.P.C.A. would be appreciated by the family.
