It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Edna Mathilda Assaly (née Davidson) surrounded by her family in Ingleside on Monday, March 27, 2023 at the age 97 years. Beloved wife of the late George Assaly. Loving mother of Patricia Conway (Anthony) of North Vancouver, BC, Jo Ann Langstaff (Ted) of Ingleside and Michael Assaly of Toronto. Cherished grandmother of Megan Langstaff (Shawn Jackson), Ted Langstaff (Lara), Emma Conway (Drew Frerichs) and great grandmother of Georgia, Ted Jr., Isla and soon to be Cameron. She is predeceased by her parents; Ernest Davidson and Emma Davidson (née Larocque), her brother Dave Davidson and her sister Anita Denis. As per Edna’s wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will take place on Friday, March 31st, 2023 from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, ON (613-938-3888). Mass of Christian burial will take place at St. Francis de Sales Church on Friday, March 31st, 2023 at 11 a.m. Spring burial in St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery will be held at a later date.
