Mrs. Eleanor Muriel Armstrong (nee Bethune) at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Friday January 20th, 2023 at the age of 95 years. Beloved wife of the late Carl Jordan Armstrong. Loving mother of Janice Rutley (Max). Eleanor will be missed by her brother Arnold Bethune (Marjorie), her grandchildren Christopher (Lucinda), Jarrett, Joshua, her great grandchildren Justin, Jaden and Evan, her special friend Christine, and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Duncan & Ella Bethune (nee Runions), her son Wayne Armstrong, her brother Ross Bethune (Margaret), and her sister Hilda Fickes (late Ellis). Cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, ON (613-938-3888). A graveside service will be held at Memorial Hill Cemetery in the spring.
