It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Gerald Poirier on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at the age of 66 years. Dear brother of Claire Rivette (Mike), Denise Beckstead, Maurice Poirier (Peggy), Elaine Beckstead (Bill), Daniel Poirier (Joanne Patenaude), Jeanne Poirier, Pauline Poirier, Robert Poirier, Rachelle Whitford (Marlin) and Alain Poirier (Patty Lynn). He will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents; Leo Poirier and Marie-Rose Poirier (nee St-Germain). Interment will take place in the spring. As per Gerald’s wishes cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, ON (613-938-3888).
