At his residence on April 3, 2022. Glenn Dwayne Francis Martel of Monkland; age 82 years. Loving husband of Barbara Martel (Avery) and the late Olive Martel (Daniels). Caring father to Murray (Joy), Stephen (Keri), Lori (Mark Day) and David Dupuis (Linda). Cherished grandfather of Josh Cotterill, Jessica Martel, Noah Ladouceur, Mackenzie Martel, Glenna Martel, Peter Martel, Erika Martel, Lucas Martel, Noelan Spink and Ana-Grace Spink. Glenn is survived by his brother Cameron Martel (Terri). Predeceased by his parents Donald and Sadie Martel (MacMillan) and by his step-mother Agnes Kennedy, and by one brother Leonard Martel. Glenn will be missed by his furry friends Rocky and Molly.
The family will be in attendance at the Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall on Sunday, April 10, 2022 from 2 pm - 4 pm & 7 pm – 9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Apple Hill on Monday, April 11, 2022 at 11 am. Interment will follow in the St. Anthony’s Parish Cemetery.
