It is with heavy hearts that the family of Grace Lattimer (nee Crozier) announces her passing at the age of 92.

Beloved wife of the late Jim Lattimer. Loving mother of Susan Lazore (late Gary) of Florida, Penny McDonald (Grant) of Cornwall, James Lattimer of B.C., and Kelly Filion (Blaine) of Cornwall. Cherished ‘Nan’ to eight grandsons; Cameron, Mitchell (Jessica), Arthur, and Justin Lazore; Brady and Colin McDonald; Nicholas (Nyomi)and Taylor Filion. ‘Great Nan’ to Olivia Lazore; Oliver and Everly Filion.

Born to Joseph Crozier and Ruth (nee Rutledge) she was raised in Burk’s Falls. Survived by siblings Grant (Gayle), Bill (Aileen), Ralph (Gloralyn). Predeceased by parents and siblings Kathleen (Doug Nelson) and Karl (Betty).

Grace enjoyed life’s simple pleasures and passed on her love of music, bedtime stories, baking, pets, nature, and bird watching to her family. She loved family gatherings, church, great conversations, Sunday drives, and dancing.

Grace spent her life in service to those around her working as a teacher before turning to care for the elderly at Glen-Stor-Dun Lodge. In retirement, she gave of her time and talents as an Elder at St. John’s Presbyterian Church where she enjoyed visiting members of the congregation, singing in the choir, and baking goodies for church socials.

Heartfelt gratitude goes out to family and friends for support, love, and memories shared with us at this difficult time. Thanks to the staff at Riverdale Terrace for the care and kindness shown during these challenging days of covid restrictions.

There will be a family memorial at the graveside.
Please perform an act of kindness or plant a tree in her memory.
