It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jane Cessford (née Palmer) on Tuesday, April 26th, 2022 at the Cornwall Community Hospital at the age of 80 years. Beloved wife for 40 years of Robert Cessford. Loving mother of Yana Powell (Denis Brassard) of Montreal, QC and John Powell and Cindy of Ottawa. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer Dupuis, Cory Wyngaert and Jason Wyngaert and great-grandmother of 10 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Kenneth Palmer (Delores), James Palmer (Muriel), John Palmer and Stella Van Onselen (Leon) all of Ireland. Moira Gillespie (late Roy) of Oshawa. Jane is predeceased by her parents; John Palmer and Elizabeth Palmer (née Brown) and by one sister Nuala Palmer. As per Jane’s wishes cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy Memorial donations to the Alzheimer's and Dementia Association would be appreciated by the family.
