GRANT, Jeanette (née Currier) – With heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Jeanette Marie Grant, in her 89th year, on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at the Cornwall Community Hospital with family by her side. Beloved wife of the late Robert W. Grant. Loving mother of Dwight (Christine), Diana Kemp (Bruce) Cindy Grant (Peter Barby) and Heather Maynard (Michael). Cherished grandmother of Scott (Heather), Grant (Sarah), Kirsten (Weston), Aaron (Kailey), Andrew (Alicia), Julian (Johanna), Jesse (Sarah), Jessica (Timothy), and Kayla (Nigel), and many great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Bruno (Claire) and Donald (late MaryAnn). Predeceased by her parents Donald and Bertha (née Leroux) Currier, brothers Wilfred and Alfred (Elizabeth). Jeanette will be sadly missed by her extended family and a great many friends. As a lifelong master gardener, she not only loved her garden, she also loved to sow seeds of kindness to all those she met; knowing that kindness planted today, would bring blooms of joy in the hearts of others.
Due to COVID -19 restrictions, controlled visitation and private family service will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall.
