It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jessie Towns-Cameron on Thursday June 16th, 2022 peacefully with her family by her side at Cornwall Hospice at the age of 82 years. Cherished and beloved mother of Beverley Cameron at home of Cornwall, Karen Leclair (Raymond) of Cornwall, Barry Cameron (Joanne) of Cornwall and Kathy Lariviere (Sylvain) of Midland, ON. She will be sadly missed by her two granddaughters Hannah Cameron (Jess) of Cornwall and Courtney Lariviere of Midland, ON. Jessie will be remembered by many nieces, nephews and sister-in-laws and by her special dear friend Joan Petryna. She is predeceased by her husband Irvin Cameron, her twin sons Jackie Daniel Cameron and Andrew Wallace Cameron, her parents Daniel Towns and Julia Towns (nee Dupuis), her brothers, Martin and Silas Towns.
The family is grateful for all the assistance, support and care our mother received from Support Team Paramed, PSWS, Fran, Connie, Bayshore PSWS, Nurses. A special Thank you to all doctors and staff at Cornwall Hospice. The care they gave our mother is heartwarming you are all Angels from Heaven.
As per Jessie’s wishes cremation has taken place. Interment will take place at a later date in Madawaska, ON. As expressions of sympathy Memorial donations to Cornwall Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
