John Murdoch “Murdie” Ross
1960-2022
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John “Murdie” Ross at Heartwood Long Term Care in Cornwall on Tuesday, May 10, 2022. John Murdoch Ross; age 62 years. Loving father of Andrew, Kara and Tara. Predeceased by his father, John M. (1976) and brother, Tom (2020). Beloved son of Rhoda Ross (nee Westlake). Dear brother of Lynn (Garry Murdock), Beth Rees (Murray), and twin brother, Lyle (Moira). Grandfather to Cynthia, Toryn, Sophia, Tobias, Maddix and Ronan. Murdie was a carpenter by trade. He lived most of his life in Bainsville, where his love of the area and his family’s roots were deep. As per John’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private family gathering will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of Murdie may be made to a charity of your choice.
