John Charles Bowland of Hamilton; resident of Cornwall, age 68 years. Passed away peacefully at the Cornwall Hospice on April 16, 2022. Cherished spouse of Lynn Francoeur. Loving father of Amber and Carly Hart, and stepfather of Crystal Burelle. Beloved step-grandfather of Karissa, Skylar, Cierra and Soraya. Dear brother of Bill and Sylvie Bowland. John is predeceased by his parents, John and Alice Bowland (née MacKenzie) and by one brother James Bowland. John will be missed by nieces; April, Cheri and Candice and her daughter Brianna, and by many relatives and friends. In keeping with John’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall (613-938-3888).
