It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Robert Savard on Friday January 27, 2023, at the age of 93 years. Beloved husband of the late Jeannine Savard (nee Cousineau). Loving grandfather of Manon Larivière (Eric Oullette), Julie Bélair (Eric), Rachel Besner and the late Chantal Cooper. Joseph will be missed also by his great grandchildren and many friends. Predeceased by his parents George & Veronica Savard (nee Cooper), his sons Claude (Suzanne), Ronald, Paul, Michel, his daughter Pauline (Marcel). A graveside committal will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023 at 2 pm at Notre Dame Cemetery, Cornwall. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, ON (613-938-3888). Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
