1928 – 2022
It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Joyce Agatha (née Wilson) Branchaud (Nanny) in Cornwall on Tuesday March 15, 2022 at the age of 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Robert Branchaud. Loving mother of Brent (Suzanne Poirier) and Steve (Janet). Cherished grandmother of Melissa Pross (Adam), Andrew (MacKenzie McRae), McKenzie, David (Melissa Seguin) and great-grandmother of Easton, Addison, Haylee, Bennett and Cheyenne. Dear sister of Beverley Higgins (late Bill) and Peggie Jarvo (late Don Garrett). Predeceased by her parents Richard-Wray and Madge (née Harris) Wilson and two siblings Marjorie Pickup (late Albert) and Dawn McManamy. Joyce was a proud member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #297 Cornwall and loyal member of Trinity Anglican Church. She will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Cremation has taken place. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Trinity Anglican Church, 105 Second Street West Saturday, March 26, 2022 at 1:30 PM. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from noon until time of Mass. If so desired, Donations to Cornwall Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
