It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kathleen (Kay) Ann Rowland (née Thorneloe) surrounded by her loving family on Monday, April 4th, 2022 at Cornwall Hospice at the age of 89 years. Beloved wife of the late Edward (Ted) Henry Rowland. Loving mother of Richard Rowland (George) of Cowansville, QC, Judith Rowland (Ron Miller) of North Lancaster, ON and James Rowland (Carol) of Pierrefonds, QC. Cherished grandmother of Christopher and Amanda Rowland, Graeme, Sandra and Jeffrey Cook, Lisa and Jennifer Rowland and great-grandmother of Alyson, Olivia and Elizabeth Cook and Florence Magnan. She is predeceased by her parents; Richard Thorneloe and Sylvia Thorneloe (née Bishop), her brothers; Richard and Walter Thorneloe and by her sisters; Florence Rogers and Grace Daigneault. As per Kay’s wishes cremation has taken place. Interment in Marbleton, QC will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy Memorial donations to Colorectal Cancer Canada or Cornwall Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
