It is with deep sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Lester Winter on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at his residence at the age of 74 years. Beloved husband of 51 years of Cheryl Winter (née Johnston). Loving father of Shawn Winter (Diane Droulis) of St. Lazare, QC and Ryan Winter (Susan St. Marseille) of Cornwall. Cherished grandfather of Cameron Winter. Dear brother of Wayne Winter (Lise) of Cornwall, Judith Winter of Cornwall, Milton Winter (Cathy) of Long Sault, Morris Winter (Donna) of Cornwall and Angela Baker (Charles) of Cornwall. Lester will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by his parents; Morris Winter and Hilda Winter (née Rennie) and by one sister; Linda and one brother; Lyndon. As per Lester’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial mass will be held on Friday, May 6th, 2022 at St. Francis de Sales Church at 1 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy and in lieu of flowers Memorial donations to Heart And Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
