Peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital, on Thursday, March 11, 2021. Lloyd Hyde was in his 79th year. Beloved husband of 54 years to Evelyn (Carson) and loving father of Lori (Lance) and Scott (Sara). A wonderful and loving Grampa who will be greatly missed by his cherished grandchildren; Tanner, Brennan (MacKenzie), Cayleb, Savanna, Brooke and Jakob. Survived by his brother Doug (Yvonne) and predeceased by his parents, Leonard and Eileen Hyde. Also predeceased by his brother Victor (Jean). Lloyd shared many special memories with his friends, family and neighbours. Lloyd always enjoyed having the Hyde household as the “home away from home” for four generations of family and friends. Whether it was watching his beloved Toronto Maple Leafs with his grandsons by his side or hosting summer barbecues by the pool, everyone was treated like family. In keeping with Lloyd’s wishes cremation has taken place and a service of remembrance will be held at a later date.
