It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Margaret “Peggy MacKinnon (nee Squires) at Glen Stor Dun Lodge on Tuesday, June 21st, 2022 at the age of 96 years. Beloved wife of the late John Hugh MacKinnon. Loving mother of Alexander MacKinnon (Elaine), Kathaleen Gordon (Douglas) both of Cornwall and George MacKinnon (Rose) of Richmond Hill. Cherished grandmother of Scott, Sherrie, John, Alexandra and the late Jeffrey and great-grandmother of Sarah, Caroline, Charlotte, Cole and Owen. She is predeceased by her parents; William George Squires and Maud Anne Squires (nee Porter) and by her sisters; Kathleen Reynolds and Lilian Joan Green. As per Margaret’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private family gathering was held. Donations in memory of Margaret may be made to a Handicap Club of Cornwall.
