It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Marie Claire Bourbonnais-Hamilton on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at Heartwood Long Term Care at the age of 100 years. Beloved wife of the late Jean-Paul Bourbonnais. Loving mother of Lyse Winter (Wayne) and Suzanne Bourbonnais (Kenneth Spedding) both of Cornwall. Cherished grandmother of Lysa Ladouceur (Micheal) and Jason Winter (Sally Lalonde), great-grandmother of Alix and Damon Winter, Shelbie (Mfon Etukudo), Sydnie (Kris Cholock) and Brianna (Mario Lascelle) and 5th generation great-great-grandmother of Oscar, Franklin, Idara and Luca. Dear sister of Lucienne Bourdon of Rosemere, QC. Marie Claire is predeceased by her parents; Davis Hamilton and Genevieve Hamilton (Tremblay) and by several brothers and sisters. As per Marie Claire’s wishes cremation has taken place. If so desired, Memorial donations to Alzheimer’s Society of Cornwall would be appreciated by the family.
