It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Maurice Joseph Provost on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at Maxville Manor at the age of 93 years. Loving father of Paul Provost (Candy), Lisa Amyotte (Kevin) both of Cornwall and Robert Provost (Jen) of Long Sault. Cherished grandfather of Ashley, Evan, Lauren, Bradley, Callie and Caden and great-grand-father of Ashton, Sawyer, Reyvan, Ella, Harper and Dante. He was formerly married to Joan Fraser. Dear brother of Anita Zappia of Florida. Maurice is predeceased by his parents; William Provost and Marie Provost (Sabourin), his brothers; Claude, Bernard, Aurele, Roma, Hubert and Rene Provost and by his sisters; Lorraine Brosseau, Irene Labonté. Maurice was a member of KOC. The family would like to thank Maxville Manor and Chateau Cornwall for their excellent care. As per Maurice’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Memorial mass will be held on Friday, April 29th, 2022 at St. Columban’s Church at 1 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date. As expressions of sympathy Memorial donations to Maxville Manor, Cornwall Hospice and the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
