1965 – 2021
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Melissa Jamie St. Denis in Long Sault on Monday, March 22, 2021 after a courage’s battle with cancer, with her family by her side, at the age of 56 years. Beloved wife of Yvon Godard. She will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Candice, Emily and cherished granddaughter Delilah. Dear sister of Catherine Stapley, Michael Stapley and late Kelly. Dear daughter of Denise Roy and the late Jim Stapley. She will be sadly missed by niece Charitee and several nieces, nephews her extended family and all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Melissa had an extremely kind heart which she used to love and care for, many foster children. In keeping with her wishes there will be no visitation or service. A celebration of her life will be held at graveside in St. Lawrence Valley Cemetery, Long Sault at a later date.
