Pat, my sincere condolences to you and all your family in the passing of Mike. He was a special person and someone I feel fortunate to have met and worked for along my banking journey. I have many fond memories of working with Mike at Scotiabank in Cornwall in the early 90's, and told him he played a big part in accelerating my Banking career. I was so happy to have reconnected with him via e-mail before Christmas. He will forever hold a special place in my heart, and will live on through the memories and stories I recount of Mike. Recently told someone about Mike doing his Sunday afternoon Bike rides towards Montreal, and then calling you to come an pick him up at one of the local establishments. He made an impact and left a legacy. RIP Mike. Kenda Allen

I worked for Mike years ago. He was such a great person with his dedication to his work and employees. He always had a great sense of humor and his endless jokes brought so much laughter throughout the workplace. Mike was not only my boss, he became my true friend and I considered him my family and I was honored to become part of his family. My sincere condolences to his lovely wife Pat, son Chris and his family and daughter Shannon and her family. Also my sincere condolences to his sister Jaye and brother Shane. Rest in peace Mike. You will be greatly missed by those who's heart you touched.
