Obituary for Patrick Joseph Shallow

1951 - 2021
After a brave struggle with Covid, Patrick Shallow, age 69 years, died at our Cornwall Community Hospital on May 7, 2021. He was the husband of Theresa Shallow (nee Grignon), and the loving father to Heidi (Neil) and Sean. He was predeceased by his father Patrick and his mother Mariah (nee Theberge). Loving brother to Patricia Corbeil (Adrien), Bertha Racine (Clare), Mary, the late Rita Acheson (Richard), and the late Vivian Brunet (Florian). “Papa” is fondly remembered by four grandchildren, Courtney, Kaitlen, Tiana and Jada. Beloved great grandfather to Ava, Mason, Scarlet and Paisley. Patrick’s life was devoted to hard work and the service of others. He spent much of his life working discretely, in the background, avoiding fanfare. He had a generous heart and despite his human frailties, did his best to care for the people in his life. He will be missed. To keep everyone safe, it has been decided to postpone a funeral mass until a later date. Donations in his memory can be made to our Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation and/or the Children’s Treatment Centre.
