FILION, Rhea Lucienne (née Joncas) – Peacefully at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Friday March 5, 2021, Rhea Filion of Cornwall; age 77 years. Beloved wife of the late Claude Filion. Loving mother of Francine Akins (Jeffrey). Proud grandmother of Sophie and Genevieve. Dear sister of Rita Legault (Roland) and Elaine Basch (Steve). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Henri Joncas and Imelda Joncas (née Doré), her brothers Maurice Joncas (Mona), Ray Joncas (Darcy Fox), Gerald Joncas (Nelda), and her sister Monique Joncas. Rite of committal will be held in the spring at the Notre Dame Cemetery. Memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
