Peacefully, with his loving family by his side, Robert Leo Mallette passed away on Saturday, January 21st, 2023 at the age of 62 years. Beloved husband for 27 years of Mary Mallette (nee McGillis). Loving father to Jeremy Mallette of Montreal, QC and Jenna Mallette of Lunenburg. Cherished son of Shirley Mallette-MacDonald (nee Richer) of Cornwall. Dear brother of Brenda Butt (Neguib), Sandra Vivarais (late Mark) both of Cornwall, Marilyn Parisien (Rick) of St.Andrew’s West, and Cathy Winter (Milton) of Long Sault. Robert will be sadly missed by his fur baby Ollie, many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who knew him. He is predeceased by his father Gordon Mallette, his step-father Bill MacDonald, and by his infant daughter, Trina-Lee. A Memorial Mass will take place on Friday, January, 27th, 2023 at St. Andrew’s Church at 11 a.m. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Carefor Cornwall Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
