Peacefully surrounded by his family on Friday, May 19, 2023 at Heartwood after a long battle with Alzheimer’s at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Annette Bisaillon for 64 years. Loving father of Joanne Marion of Nova Scotia, Suzanne Marion (Lloyd Saunders) of Cornwall, and cherished grandfather of Matthieu Saunders of Cornwall. He is predeceased by an infant son Daniel, by his parents Alphonse and Fernande Marion (nee Bergeron), by his brothers Georges and Raymond, and by his sister Claudette (late Gerry O’Neil). Dear brother of Maurice (Raymonde), Léo (late Linda), Lillianne (late Laurent, late Jean-Marie Lefebvre), and Paul (Carol). Robert was an avid businessman, a great beef cattle farmer, and enjoyed fishing, gardening, and his family life. He will be sadly missed by nieces and nephews. As per Roberts wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt St., Cornwall (613-938-3888).
