It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Roney Jamieson on Friday, October 21st, 2022 at St. Vincent Hospital in Ottawa, at the age of 92 years. Beloved husband of the late Joyce Jamieson (nee Wilson). Loving father of Jane Tones (Mike) of Smith’s Falls, Cherished grandfather of Emilee and Kailee. Proud great grandfather of Bentlee. Roney will be missed by his brother Charles Jamieson (Claire). Predeceased by his parents Maurice & Verna Jamieson (nee MacDonald), his sister Fae Robb (late Angus) and his brothers Howard Jamieson (late Francis), Wallace Jamieson (late Lucy). As per Roney’s wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2022 from1 p.m. to2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, ON (613-938-3888). A memorial service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, October 27, 2022 at 2 p.m. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations in Roney’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
