It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Rosanne Léger (nee McDonald) surrounded by her loving family on Friday December 16th, 2022 in Cornwall at the age of 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Claude Léger. Loving mother of Suzanne Léger (James Pare) of London, ON, Steve Léger (Annette), Claude Léger (Mona) both of Cornwall, Paulette Lalonde (Michel) of Summerstown. Cherished grandmother of 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Jack McDonald of N.S., Albert McDonald (Barbara) of Cornwall. She is predeceased by her parents; Bernard McDonald and Mary McDonald (nee Terriere), her siblings; Catherine McDonald, Fred McDonald, Donna Perras and Jim McDonald. As per Rosanne wishes cremation has taken place. The family would like to thank the staff of Heartwood Long Term Care for the tender care and wonderful attention they gave to their mother in the past few days. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, ON (613-938-3888). Memorial donations to the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family.
