It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Susanna Gizella Parsons (née Szkaliczky) on Tuesday February 7, 2023, at the age of 66 years. Beloved wife of the late John Parsons (2021). Proud and loving mother of Emile Jean-Pierre Valcourt of Ottawa, Nicole Suzann Marie Valcourt (Matthew Lavallée) of Ottawa and Julie Frances Parsons (Luke Parker) of Cornwall. Proud grandmother to come of Oliver John Derrick Parker. Sister of Leslie Szkaliczky and Kurt Kovacs. Predeceased by her parents Valdemar Janus Szkaliczky & Gizella Kovacs (née Biro). In respect of Susan’s wishes, a private celebration of her life will be celebrated at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, ON (613-938-3888). Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
