1929-2023
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Suzanne Champagne (Ridal) (née Charbonneau), age 93, of Cornwall ON, on March 29, 2023.
Daughter of the late Henri Charbonneau and Alice Charbonneau (Leclair).
Beloved wife of the late Cyril Ridal, and by a previous marriage, to the late Guy Champagne.
Loving mother of Linda Bouchard (Jacques), Carmen Smith (Randy), Joanne MacLeod (Murray), and Sylvie Champagne (Guy).
Loving step-mother of Theresa Mainville (Alain), Jeffrey Ridal (Brenda), Janet Miele (Anthony) and the late Debra Brault.
Pre-deceased by her siblings Jean-Paul Charbonneau (Antoinette), André Charbonneau (Alexandrine), Edmond Charbonneau (Béatrice), Thérèse Patenaude (Jean-Paul), Rollande Crites (George).
Claudia Charbonneau, Lucille Cléroux (Léo), Georges Charbonneau (Thérèse) and Robert Charbonneau (Dora).
Suzanne will be missed by her grand-children, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
As per Suzanne’s request, there will be no visitation. A private family funeral service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a donation to Cornwall Hospice would be appreciated.
