It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas Gilbert De Merchant at the St. Joseph’s Continuing Care, Cornwall on Friday May 7, 2021 at the age of 70 years. Dear husband by a former marriage to Judy (née Little) De Merchant. Loving father of Margaret De Merchant, Carol Stephenson (Louie) and the late Robert. Predeceased by his parents and two siblings Roy and Carol Lasalle (Keith). Cherished grandfather of Matthew, Jessica, Tyler and Great-Grandfather of Jayla, Hailey and Miles. In keeping with his wishes there will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. If so desired, Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
