At the Ottawa General Hospital on Monday, May 15, 2023. William McDonald of Ottawa, formerly of Monkland; age 90 years. Husband of the late Catherine McDonald (nee Kealey). Loving father of Edward “Ted” McDonald (Kelly) of Stittsville. Cherished grandfather of Connor and Aedan. Predeceased by brothers and sisters John “Jack”, Frank, Theresa, Dan, and Don, and by his parents Duncan “Ban” and Elizabeth McDonald (nee Maloney). Visitation will be held at the Wilson Funeral Home 822 Pitt St., Cornwall (613-938-3888) on Friday, May 19, 2023 from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm and on Saturday from 9 am -10 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Andrews Catholic Church on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 10:30 am. Interment will follow in the Parish Cemetery.
