It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of William Ralph Peddie at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Thursday, July 28th, 2022 at the age of 89 years. Beloved husband of the late Annie Peddie (nee Raymond). Dear brother of Wesley Peddie (Barbara) of Boston, USA. Cherished uncle of Kathryn Hirsch (Mike) of Cornwall, Colin Peddie (Sharon) of Nova Scotia, Sharon Lucier (Brian), David Peddie (Lorye) and Michael Peddie (Ann) all of Massachusetts, USA. Ralph will be greatly missed by many great-nieces and great-nephews and by his longtime friend Danielle of Alberta. Ralph is predeceased by his parents; James Peddie and Elizabeth Peddie (nee Henderson) and by one brother; James Peddie (late Elaine). Visitation will take place at Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, ON (613-938-388) on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from Noon until the time of Funeral. Funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 3rd, 2022 in the chapel of the Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Cremation to follow. Interment will take place at a later date in St. Lawrence Cemetery, Ingleside, ON. Memorial donations to the Diabetes Association or to the Cornwall Community Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
