Obituary

SAUCIER, Heather (née MacDonald) – It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Heather Alexandra Saucier on Friday, January 22, 2021 at the Ottawa Hospital, Civic Campus with her family by her side at the age of 67 years. Loving mother of Emily Saucier-Davidson (Nick) and Chelsey Saucier (Owen). Cherished grandmother of Bailey, Koda, Kaydon Sylvester and Myah Davidson. Dear sister of Colin, Ian, Sandy MacDonald and Megan Andrews. Predeceased by her parents Gerald and Edith (née Needham) Macdonald. Due to the COVID – 19 restrictions, controlled visitation will be held. A private family service will be held in the Chapel of the Wilson Funeral Home, Boulerice Centre, 218 Montreal Road, Cornwall. Interment will take place at a later date. Donations in memory can be made to the Hamilton Crescent Community Garden Program. (rodgersl@seawayvalleychc.ca). HEATHER WAS OF THE EARTH, THE SOIL, BE IT GARDENING, A WALK IN THE PARK, THE FOREST OR THE RIVER. SHE WAS PART OF IT, AND IT WAS PART OF HER.
