Our deepest sympathies to Father George Maloney’s family, loved ones, friends in the pastoral community, and all those whose lives have been touched by him. Father Maloney has been a close friend to our family for decades. We grew up with him at our resident parishes and he was involved in family celebrations as well as providing us support during difficult times. He had a very special and long-standing friendship with Stanley and Denise Proulx. We have many fond memories of Father George and he always had a special place in our hearts. He will be missed dearly.
With our deepest condolences and affection,
Denise Proulx, (the late) Stanley Proulx
Darnell, Jonathan, Kelly-Ann and James Proulx

My sincere condolences on the passing of Father George Maloney.
He was my childhood priest at St. Francis de Sales Church and I always took away a key life lesson or insightful perspective from his down-to-earth, approachable, speedy and always humour-filled sermons.
He was a true representation of what a community clergyman.
May he now rest in peace.
